Overview:
Kiddy Club is a whimsical juice box series designed to spark joy and imagination in kids while offering parents a visually appealing, approachable product. This branding project blends playful character design with a strong visual identity system to create a cohesive, shelf-ready experience.
Objective:
Design an original juice box packaging system that appeals to children aged 5–10, with a fun, character-driven aesthetic, flavor storytelling, and a flexible brand system for future product lines.
Solution:
Each juice flavor is personified by a cheerful character (e.g. Lil’ Temple for lime-mint-apple), illustrated in a flat, kid-friendly style. The packaging uses bold typography (Cheeee) and a consistent palette of soft-yet-vibrant colors. A custom dieline was created in Illustrator to support 3D rendering and accurate printing.
Key visual components include:
A friendly mascot on every box with expressive, animated poses
Subtle variation in background tones to help differentiate flavors
A consistent logotype and submark system for visual brand recall
Clearly labeled flavors with hand-drawn font for personality
Deliverables:
Brand mark, submark, and color system
Custom dieline creation in Adobe Illustrator
Front-face juice box mockups for each flavor
Fully illustrated character assets with scalable detail
Reflection:
This project taught me how to balance playful, child-oriented visuals with professional packaging standards. I explored symmetry tools, dieline construction, and mockup prep for real-world packaging design, all while preserving a cohesive narrative and visual charm.
